The Sabbath is God's provision for us that we will never burn out, or be depleted and run on empty. Sabbath rest is meant to replenish our spiritual, emotional, and physical strength. It is meant to help us refocus on Him, and Him alone.

Our family has tried our best to get together each Friday night to have a Sabbath meal together. After this meal, we have the Lord's supper and we speak words of blessing to one another.

It has not worked out yet to be a regular thing for us, but many of my friends are really observing the day of Sabbath.

Your post is a strong reminder for me to make the Sabbath rest a priority.

Thank you for your sensitivity, Tammi. The Lord strengthens His people through joy!

Love
LidjCrown of Beautyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08993686012020045284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898498593098848898.post-27771394014165241512011-07-16T20:56:46.095-04:002011-07-16T20:56:46.095-04:00Such beautiful Scripture...such beautiful words......Such beautiful Scripture...such beautiful words...such a beautiful heart.

You inspire and encourage me soooo much.

Love you my friend,
AlleluiabelleAlleluiabellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15737663459139575676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898498593098848898.post-58644819047068998952011-07-16T19:42:22.732-04:002011-07-16T19:42:22.732-04:00I enjoyed this Tammi.
